Independence Day is the most important celebration of our great and blessed nation. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed, which claimed our independence from then till eternity. As we all well know though, there was and is a great price that is paid for our freedom. Many Americans came to realize this on September 11, 2001 and many veterans have never lost their site of this realization.
Most Americans are showing their pride more than ever with flags hanging in front of their home and car, patriotic clothes and even flags being hung on over passes. We are one nation, under God, a family. When a crisis arises, we come together as one and become a stronger nation. We do not run and hide or turn on our fellow citizens as the enemy against our freedom would like us to do.
Such a high price has been paid for our freedom and let us not ever forget this. We are truly a blessed country with freedoms that abound in numbers, more than any other country.
Let us celebrate this 4th of July by showing our pride. Hang the red, white and blue up where everyone can see!
Enjoy the day with a nice cookout, your town parade, and top the night off with fireworks! It's a celebration, our nation's birthday! And, if you see a uniformed person or someone you know is a veteran, thank them.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA! ! !
It is RED for love,
And it's WHITE for law,
And it's BLUE for the hope that
our forefathers saw,
of a larger liberty.
