Havre de Grace Promenade

The Havre de Grace promenade is the perfect place for a quiet stroll or jog.  Located in Havre de Grace, Maryland and only minutes away from Cal Ripken, Jr.'s hometown of Aberdeen, the promenade is a long stretch of boardwalk along the Susquehanna River which meets with the Chesapeake Bay.  Take in the gorgeous view as sail boats glide across the beautiful waters and sea gulls rule the air.  Enjoy the historic Concord Point lighthouse, built in 1827.  This is a perfect place to bring your children as they will enjoy feeding the many ducks and geese that swim around the promenade and bask in the sun.  There is also a large park only walking distance away.  Pack a picnic basket and make a day of it.  Don't forget to bring extra for the ducks.
